July 2025 — The Start of SHAKR
SHAKR started in July 2025 with a simple idea — create something that truly means something to people. I’m Kane Anderson, and I wanted more than just another clothing brand. I wanted something I’d personally use as I worked on my own self-improvement, growth, and mental health.
The Background
At the time, I was running my car detailing business, living on my own at 18, and learning firsthand how much discipline and consistency matter. I realized that while I was working to improve myself, I wasn’t tracking my wins or goals — and that made progress harder to see. I wanted to build something that not only looked good, but also helped people stay accountable to their growth

Starting from Scratch
I’m building this brand completely on my own. At the time of writing this, our first product samples — our shorts — are on the way. I don’t know exactly how this will unfold, but I do know why I’m doing it: to help people feel confident in themselves, stay consistent, and make a difference in the world, even if it starts with something as simple as putting on a pair of shorts.
